Anàlisi i desenvolupament d'un mòdul de gestió de biblioteques per a l'ERP Odoo

Abstract

[CA] Els bibliotecaris ja no utilitzen el sistema tradicional de paper i bolígraf, sinó un software a partir del qual fan totes les gestions. Aquests programaris tenen uns desavantatges: segueixen una lògica complexa d’entendre per als novells, poc òptims, i que tenen dos grans problemàtiques: - Actuen de forma aïllada amb els altres processos de la biblioteca. Açò potser una problemàtica de cara a resoldre incidències, ja que no hi ha administrador del sistema. - No són personalitzables. El canvi en el model que segueixen les biblioteques, per tant, no és una mala idea. El problema principal és que la implementació d’un ERP a les biblioteques no és factible per el tipus de negoci, ja que no produeixen ni facturen. No obstant, sí que seria factible amb la personalització d’un ERP. Existeix un ERP, anomenat Odoo, que permet exactament això, i així amb la creació d’un mòdul que implemente la funcionalitat de la gestió bibliotecària a l’ERP, aquest podria ser utilitzat per les biblioteques com a alternativa al software privat. Aquest treball de fi de grau consisteix en desenvolupar software que permeta dur a terme el procés de gestió bibliotecària dins d’un ERP, i que així puga ser integrat en una biblioteca. A més, el desenvolupament d’aquest programari permet oferir la major automatització possible del treball de gestió bibliotecària, i permet oferir un servei de manteniment per tal de millorar constantment el producte.

[EN] Librarians no longer use the traditional system of paper and pen, but a software from which they do all the work. These softwares have some disadvantages: they follow a logic that is difficult to understand for novices, not very optimal, and they have two big problems: - They act in an isolated way with the other processes of the library. This may be a problem in terms of resolving incidents, since there is no system administrator. - They are not customizable. The change in the model that libraries follow, therefore, is not a bad idea. The main problem is that the implementation of an ERP in libraries is not feasible due to the type of business, since they do not produce or invoice. However, it could be more feasible with the customization of an ERP. There is an ERP, called Odoo, that allows exactly this, and thus with the creation of a module that implements the library management functionality into the ERP, it could be used by libraries as an alternative to private software. This final thesis consists of developing software that allows to carry out the process of library management within an ERP, so that it can be integrated into a library, but does not cover the implementation of the ERP as such in the organization. Moreover, the development of this program allows to offer the greatest possible automation of the library management work and allows to offer a maintenance service to constantly improve the product.
