Monstruoso-Soft robot. Un estudio, análisis y prototipado de mecanismos blandos y experiencias emocionales a través de una práctica artística y tecnológica.

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto final de máster se presenta con el desarrollo de un proyecto artístico teórico-práctico de investigación y análisis de lo monstruoso como modelo conceptual de la relación humano-máquina, y su presencia en la cultura y en las emociones. Desde una mirada artística se plantean formas y relaciones de comunicación entre lo artificial y lo natural en lo siniestro, lo extraño, the uncanny. En un nivel estructural teórico se plantean diferentes puntos que tratan el desarrollo y estudio de lo monstruoso en intersección con la sociedad, la tecnología, el arte y las emociones. El objetivo práctico de esta investigación es presentar la creación y diseño experimental de un mecanismo autónomo reactivo que establece relaciones conflictivas de interacción con los humanos y su entorno, respondiendo a nivel técnico y conceptual cuestiones de lo monstruoso del proyecto.

[EN] This master's degree final project is presented with the development of a theoretical-practical artistic project of research and analysis of the monstrous as a conceptual model of the human-machine relationship and its presence in culture and emotions. From an artistic point of view, forms and relations of communication between the artificial and the natural in the sinister, the strange, the uncanny are proposed. On a theoretical structural level, different points are proposed, which deal with the development and study of the monstrous in intersection with society, technology, art and emotions. The practical objective of this research is to present the creation and experimental design of an autonomous reactive mechanism that establishes conflictive relations of interaction with humans and their environment, answering at a technical and conceptual level questions of the monstrous in the project.
