Development of a software application to tokenize and manage real estate using blockchain technology

Abstract

[ES] Desarrollo de una aplicación software para la tokenización y gestión de inmuebles utilizando tecnología blockchain. El desarrollo de la aplicación viene motivado por la necesidad de satisfacer a pequeños inversores que quieren participar en el mercado de inmuebles. La solución propuesta es una plataforma que incluye un frontend en version móvil, una instancia de un servidor como backend, y una base de datos. Y lo mas importante, incluye una serie de contratos inteligentes desplegados en una red blockchain, para la lógica principal de tokenizar edificios, comprar y vender tokens, administrar el alquiler, y gobernanza. Una vez este código ha sido desplegado, se puede usar si importar el estado del resto de la plataforma, proporcionando una manera segura y descentralizada de interactuar con la lógica, permitiendo que cualquiera participe.

[EN] Real estate has been a very important investment sector for a long time, but suffers from a high barrier to entry. This project aims to offer a solution, democratising access to the real estate market through the use of tokenization and blockchain technology. First of all, an in depth analysis of the domain of the problem will be presented. Then the design of the software solution will be considered, including a discussion on the different projectual choices and their impacts. Subsequently, the implementation of the solution will be explored, which is composed of the frontend, backend, and blockchain systems. Regarding the business analysis part, it consists of a business plan including a description of the company, a marketing analysis including environment and market study but also a marketing mix study. Finally, the business plan also includes a budget estimation. Succeeding this, the future of the project will be examined, determining what the next steps should be. Finally, a conclusion will provide some insight into the overall relevance and success of the project
