SIMULACIÓN SOBRE SAP S4/HANA DEL PROCESO DE DISEÑO DE UN NUEVO MODELO DE CINTURÓN DESTINADO A LA ACTIVIDAD POLICIAL EN UNA EMPRESA MULTINACIONAL

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo de fin de grado trata de dar respuesta a una necesidad de mejora de las prestaciones de un dispositivo clave en la función desempeñada por el personal de las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad: el cinturón policial. Hasta la fecha, este producto ha sufrido muy poca evolución en cuanto a sus prestaciones. Sin embargo, entre los usuarios existen necesidades relativas tanto a sus características físicas como a su funcionalidad que ofrecen un interesante espacio de mejora.

Para ello, se propone la realización de un diseño conceptual de un nuevo modelo de cinturón policial. Se emplearán diversas técnicas de ingeniería del diseño, analizando desde las demandas de usuario, las características de la competencia o el marco normativo, entre otros aspectos. Con objeto de articular toda la información y sintetizar las especificaciones técnicas del diseño, se empleará el método de gestión de la calidad QFD (Quality Function Deployment). Posteriormente, se simulará la fabricación de un prototipo, con objeto de realizar una primera aproximación al coste del producto y valorar, junto a los aspectos técnicos, la viabilidad de lanzar este producto al mercado.

Todo este proceso de gestión del diseño se llevará a cabo a través de SAP S/4HANA, el ERP de la empresa fabricante.

[EN] This final degree project tries to respond to a need to improve the performance of a key device in the role performed by the personnel of the Security Forces and Corps: the police belt. To date, this product has undergone very little evolution in terms of performance. However, there are needs among users regarding both its physical characteristics and its functionality that offer an interesting space for improvement.

To do this, it is proposed to carry out a conceptual design of a new police belt model. Various design engineering techniques will be used, analyzing from user demands, the characteristics of the competition or the regulatory framework, among other aspects. In order to articulate all the information and synthesize the technical specifications of the design, the quality management method QFD (Quality Function Deployment) will be used. Subsequently, the manufacture of a prototype will be simulated, in order to make a first approximation to the cost of the product and assess, together with the technical aspects, the feasibility of launching this product on the market.

All this design management process will be carried out through SAP S / 4HANA, the ERP of the manufacturing company.
