La huerta como espacio para el ocio. Centro social y agroturístico en Gestalgar

Abstract

[ES] Tras la decadencia de la agricultura en el pueblo de Gestalgar y debido a su gran valor patrimonial se propone un proyecto para su revalorización, ya que se considera la huerta como una oportunidad para reactivar la economía y la actividad en el Gestalgar.

La intención del proyecto es mostrar a las personas el valor de la huerta tratándola como un espacio de ocio. Para ello, se propone un gran espacio docente con alojamiento donde se impartirán una serie de talleres, en los que se trabajarán los campos y se mostrará la realidad de la agricultura. Así mismo, el proyecto cuenta con un centro gastronómico que se abastece de la propia huerta, así como un espacio de compra-venta de los productos locales, aportando un carácter sostenible al proyecto. Además, se plantea una infraestructura verde en la que se trabaja el borde sur del pueblo para controlar el crecimiento del mismo y proporcionar una transición entre la población y la huerta.

[EN] After the decline of agriculture in the town of Gestalgar and due to its great heritage value, a project is proposed for its revaluation, since the orchard is considered as an opportunity to revive the economy and activity in Gestalgar.

The intention of the project is to show people the value of the orchard by treating it as a leisure space. To this end, a large teaching space is proposed with accommodation where a series of workshops will be held, in which the fields will be worked and the reality of agriculture will be shown. Likewise, the project has a gastronomic center that is supplied by the orchard itself, as well as a space for buying and selling local products, providing a sustainable character to the project. In addition, a green infrastructure is proposed in which the southern edge of the village is worked to control its growth and provide a transition between the population and the orchard.
