| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] This master 's thesis deals with the development and evaluation of a detection ap- proach to detect anomalies caused by steganographic embedding in industrial networks. This line of research is motivated by the growing popularity of the use of this type of steganographic techniques by cyber criminals to remain undetected during attacks. Moreover, industrial networks are a highly critical environment where a cybersecurity incident can even put human lives at risk. This detection has been based on the use of convolutional neural networks (CNN) and for this purpose, a hand-crafted feature space has been created for training and testing these networks. The data used for the realization of this thesis have been provided by the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences (THB). These data have been collected in a simulated industrial environment and have served as input to measure the performance of the three CNN-based classification models each designed with different complexity. The three models have been created using Tensorflow and Keras libraries. For per- formance measurement, the usual accuracy and error metrics have been used in addition to rates such as true positive (TPR) and true negative (TNR). This new feature space has presented very promising results for data classification for the three models, obtaining an average classification accuracy of more than 95%. These results can serve as a reference for future work and improvements along the same lines. | es_ES |
