[EN] The loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) is a priority and vulnerable species, and understanding which habitats it frequents and how it uses them is essential to implement effective conservation measures. It¿s necessary to carry out studies on the early phases of the species and its dispersion and habitat, to find out which areas it inhabits and take management measures. The main objective of this TFM is to study the changes in the use of the habitat throughout the year for juvenile loggerhead sea turtles born on the beaches of the Spanish Mediterranean coasts. In this study, to obtain the data, the tagging and satellite monitoring of post-hatchling specimens or young 1-year-old juveniles have been carried out. The treatment and post-processing of data has been done with the ¿R¿ software, through which estimates of habitat use (¿home range¿) and cartographies for data visualization have been obtained. As a result, it has been seen that juvenile loggerhead sea turtles present variable states of movement and the "home range" reflects different habitat preferences depending on the season of the year. Knowing these preferences increases the knowledge of the species during the early phases of post-hatchlings or juveniles, and contributes to improve its management.
