Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo final de Máster pretende dar una respuesta a las carencias del barrio de Morvedre, es un barrio de la ciudad de Valencia, perteneciente al distrito de La Zaidía. A raíz del análisis se detecta una cantidad importante de equipamientos dotacionales. Se considera de gran importancia, la baja calidad de espacio público desde el punto de vista del peatón. Se detecta la carencia que tiene el barrio de un equipamiento complementario a la educación. En estás manzanas surge la oportunidad de darle al barrio un espacio socio - cultural que cubra todas las necesidades de sus futuros usuarios. Por ello, se aporta un lugar donde todo tipo de usuario, estudiantes, niños, jóvenes, adultos, seniors¿ puedan reunirse y desarrollar sus funciones. La creación de una Biblioteca que va más allá del carácter institucional, donde se producirán momentos. Un lugar que conecta todos los colegios y forma un área de reunión intergeneracional, potenciando la relación del espacio público con el entorno del barrio. Este equipamiento tan atractivo y necesario se crea pensando desde el momento 0 en todo tipo de usuario y en las necesidades del barrio. Hacia una arquitectura inclusiva.

[EN] This Master's thesis aims to respond to the shortcomings of the neighborhood of Morvedre, a neighborhood of the city of Valencia, belonging to the district of La Zaidía. As a result of the analysis, an important amount of endowment equipment is detected. It is considered of great importance, the low quality of public space from the point of view of the pedestrian. The lack of complementary educational facilities in the neighborhood is detected. In these blocks arises the opportunity to give the neighborhood a socio-cultural space that meets all the needs of its future users. Therefore, it provides a place where all types of users, students, children, youth, adults, seniors ... can meet and develop their functions. The creation of a Library that goes beyond the institutional character, where moments will occur. A place that connects all schools and forms an intergenerational meeting area, enhancing the relationship of public space with the neighborhood environment. This attractive and necessary equipment is created thinking from the moment 0 in all types of users and the needs of the neighborhood. Towards an inclusive architecture.
