Trabajo práctico basado en proyectos para Grado en Fundamentos de la Arquitectura

Abstract

[ES] El cambio en el perfil de los estudiantes de arquitectura que se produjo hace unos años comienza a sentirse actualmente en los últimos cursos del Grado en Fundamentos de la Arquitectura. Este hecho obliga a los docentes a buscar alternativas que consigan motivar a los estudiantes. Debido a esto, se propone la adaptación, no en contenido, sino en formato y forma, del trabajo práctico de la asignatura de Construcción III del quinto curso de este grado. Mediante un ejercicio práctico basado en proyectos, se pretende involucrar al estudiantado en el cálculo estructural a través de un hito que les motive. Además, este trabajo recoge la metodología para integrar la evaluación de las competencias transversales en esta parte de la asignatura y, también, una futura línea para vincular este trabajo con otras asignaturas. Este hecho fomenta la transversalidad, herramienta indispensable en la formación universitaria en el ámbito de la arquitectura.

[EN] The new profile of architecture students changed several years ago, and nowadays, it is possible to appreciate it in the last courses of the Bachelor¿s Degree in the Fundamentals of Architecture. This fact forces the teachers to look for alternatives to increase the motivation of the students. Considering this scenario, the study proposes a new approach of the practical part in the subject ¿Construcción III¿ in the fifth course of the mentioned Bachelor¿s Degree. Using practical examples, the new perspective of this part of the subject tries to involve the students in the structural design through a landmark that can encourage them. In addition, this study point out (1) the methodology to integrate the transversal skills evaluation in this part of the subject and (2) a future line to collaborative work with other subjects. The former will increase the transversality in the architecture training.
