Abstract

[ES] El proyecto busca la revitalización del barrio El Botánico de Valencia, situado en el centro histórico de Valencia. A través del análisis del barrio a nivel urbanístico, en un principio se realiza una intervención de regeneración de la zona de actuación y a continuación, se centra en desarrollar una propuesta de conjunto para la tercera edad. Se plantea realizar una intervención en los vacíos existentes del barrio mediante la presencia de un nuevo estilo de vivienda comunitaria destinada a la tercera edad. Se pretende crear una nueva vida en el barrio de forma más social, colectivo, activo y menos individualista con la implantación de las viviendas comunitarias completando con edificios destinados a equipamiento en la cual darán servicio tanto para las viviendas como para la comunidad.

[EN] The project seeks the revitalization of the El Botánico neighborhood of Valencia, located in the historic center of Valencia. Through the analysis of the neighborhood at an urban level, at first an intervention is carried out to regenerate the area of action and then it focuses on developing an overall proposal for the elderly. It is proposed to carry out an intervention in the existing voids of the neighborhood through the presence of a new style of community housing for the elderly. It is intended to create a new life in the neighborhood in a more social, collective, active and less individualistic way with the implementation of community dwellings, completing with buildings for equipment in which they will serve both the homes and the community.
