| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] Fuel cells are the essential operating system for hydrogen engines. While this Final Degree Project (FDP) has been carried out, society, the economy and nations are undergoing major disruptions. While this Final Degree Project (FDP) has been carried out, society, the economy and nations are undergoing major disruptions in the energy model used in recent years. The technologies based on hydrogen fuel cells are the most important system for the operation of hydrogen engines. Technologies based on PEM hydrogen cells have not yet reached a significant development, which could be one of the keys to solving major challenges in the energy market. The optimisation of existing systems is therefore essential to optimise existing systems as well as new ones in the future. As a response to these problems, some of the systems being developed are moving systems that are being developed go as far as optimising and improving existing but underdeveloped systems. The objective of this FDP is to analyse which are the fundamental parameters and variables, how they have the fundamental parameters and variables, how they have dependencies between them and finally to provide solutions for working in certain ranges of operations that are most suitable for experimenting with fuel cells. This has been made possible by studying and manipulating initial models. Thanks to research papers have investigated the limitations in the cells and how to operate through the variables to improve their performance. During the FDP, some problems in the design of hydrogen cells have been addressed. Hydrogen cell design, such as variations of hydrogen and oxygen and their flow concentrations in the gas channels through the cathode and anode, respectively, the dependence of variables such as pressure and temperature on the flux of protons, concentration gradients and finally how they influence the humidity in the membrane. In addition, other effects such as overheating, excess water, degradation or large potential drops. Brief modelling elaborations describing some of the physical phenomena in the membrane have also been addressed. In order to establish and clarify the dependence between variables in the stack, short modelling exercises describing some physical phenomena in the stack have also been addressed the dependence between variables and how influence to cell performance. | es_ES |
