Abstract

[ES] El centro de Morvedre en la actualidad se caracteriza por la vulnerabilidad social y arquitectónica que sufre, el estudio e identificación de la problemática social y espacial es el primer paso para resolver los problemas existentes en la zona.

La observación del entorno urbano, muestra el día a día de los vecinos y como se relacionan, tanto entre sí como con el espacio, plasmando los itinerarios que realizan los habitantes por los espacios en desuso del barrio. Estos se toman como un punto de partida, introduciendo el recorrido humano como idea generadora del conjunto.

Las actuaciones persiguen fortalecer la comunidad, mediante un proyecto del que los vecinos puedan apropiarse, regenerando el espacio y permitiendo el desarrollo cultural y social de los habitantes del barrio de Morvedre.

[EN] The centre of Morvedre is currently characterised by the social and architectural vulnerability it suffers, the study and identification of the social and spatial problems is the first step towards solving the existing difficulties in the area.

The observation of the urban environment shows the day-to-day life of the neighbours and how they relate to each other and to the space, capturing the itineraries that the inhabitants take through the disused spaces in the neighbourhood. These are taken as a starting point, introducing the human route as the idea that generates the whole.

The actions aim to strengthen the community through a project that the residents can appropriate, regenerating the space and allowing the cultural and social development of the inhabitants of the Morvedre neighbourhood.
