Criptomonedas y el sector turismo

Abstract

[ES] En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se analiza la posibilidad de utilizar las criptomonedas como método de pago en el sector turístico español, ya sea como método de pago en un establecimiento, como puede ser una cafetería o un local de alquiler de vehículos, como puede ser en el transporte público o la reserva de una habitación de hotel. El sector turístico es el sector que mayor aportación tiene en el PIB en España y las criptomonedas se han visto beneficiadas en la pandemia debido al Covid-19, ya que se han dado a conocer en muchísima gente y han tenido un auge importante, tanto a nivel de valor como entre las personas. La elección del tema se basa en que, como otras muchas personas, conocí las criptomonedas durante la pandemia y, tras indagar en estas, vi que la tecnología que hay detrás de estas pueden tener un gran impacto a nivel mundial, ya que dicha tecnología me parece muy interesante. Por tanto, quise asociar las criptomonedas con algo de gran importancia en el país, por lo que decidí asociarlo con el sector turístico ya que como he mencionado anteriormente tiene un gran impacto en el PIB, además de los beneficios que se obtienen al unir tanto las criptomonedas como el sector turístico, beneficios que veremos a lo largo de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado.

[EN] In this Final Degree Project, the possibility of using cryptocurrencies as a method of payment in the Spanish tourism sector is analyzed, either as a method of payment in an establishment, such as a cafeteria or a vehicle rental place, such as on public transport or booking a hotel room. The tourism sector is the sector that has the greatest contribution to GDP in Spain and cryptocurrencies have benefited during the pandemic due to Covid-19, since they have become familiar to many people and have had a significant boom, with respect to its value as a currency as well as among the people. The choice of topic is based on the fact that, like many other people, I was introduced to cryptocurrencies during the pandemic and, after inquiring into them, I saw that the technology behind them could have a great impact worldwide, since this technology seemed very interesting to me. Therefore, I wanted to associate cryptocurrencies with something of great importance in the country, so I would like to associate it with the tourism sector, and as mentioned before, it has a great impact on GDP, in addition to the benefits obtained by uniting both the cryptocurrencies such as the tourism sector, benefits that we will see throughout this Final Degree Project.

[CA] En aquest Treball de Fi de Grau s'analitza la possibilitat d'utilitzar les criptomonedes com a mètode de pagament al sector turístic espanyol, ja sigui com a mètode de pagament en un establiment, com pot ser una cafeteria o un local de lloguer de vehicles, com pot ser en el transport públic o la reserva d’una habitació d’hotel. El sector turístic és el sector que té més aportació al PIB a Espanya i les criptomonedes s'han vist beneficiades a la pandèmia causada pel Covid-19, ja que s'han donat a conèixer en moltíssima gent i han tingut un auge important, tant a nivell de valor com entre les persones. L'elecció del tema es basa en que, com moltes altres persones, vaig conèixer les criptomonedes durant la pandèmia i, després d’indagar en aquestes, vaig veure que la tecnologia que hi ha darrere d'aquestes poden tenir un gran impacte a nivell mundial, ja que aquesta tecnologia em sembla molt interessant. Per tant, vaig voler associar les criptomonedes amb alguna cosa de gran importància al país, per la qual cosa vaig decidir associar-les amb el sector turístic, ja que com he esmentat anteriorment, té un gran impacte al PIB, a més dels beneficis que s'obtenen en unir tant les criptomones com el sector turístic, beneficis que veurem al llarg d'aquest Treball de Fi de Grau.
