Inmersión en el interior, naturaleza al microscopio

Abstract

[ES] Se ha realizado una serie de libros de artista donde se quiere dar valor a los elementos de la naturaleza más pequeños, por esto, las imágenes que se han tomado como referencia han sido sacadas del microscopio. Con esto se busca dar una visión diferente y más íntima, otorgándole valor y belleza a las imágenes habitualmente destinadas al estudio científico. En las páginas predominan ilustraciones realizadas con planchas de linóleo, planchas micrograneadas de litografía y cianotipias, que están superpuestas sobre fondos manchados con acuarela o tinta china y donde aparecen los nombres de las especies con tipografía. Los libros se dividen en tres grupos: hongos, plancton y maderas, la estructura interior de estos no va a seguir un patrón concreto ya que se quiere dar una estética de cuaderno de campo, con anotaciones, interpretaciones de las imágenes reales y manchas que lo hagan parecer desenfadado, para contraponerse a los libros destinados al estudio científico y arrebatarle el valor didáctico.

[EN] It has been realized a serie of artist books where the aim is to give value to the smallest elements of nature, because of that, the images that have been selected from reference have been taken out from the microscope. This is intended to give a different and more intimate vision, giving value and beauty to the images usually designated for scientific study. The pages are dominated by illustrations made with linoleum plates, micro-grained lithography plates and cyanotype, which are overlapping on backgrounds stained with watercolor or ink and where the names of the species appear with typography. The books are divided into three groups: fungi, plankton and wood, the interior structure of these will not follow a specific pattern as it is intended to give a field notebook aesthetic, with annotations, interpretations of the real images and stains that make it look casual, to contrast with the books for scientific study and take away the didactic value.
