Mehr Licht! Materializar la luz mediante diversos procedimientos artísticos.

Abstract

[ES] Este Trabajo de Final de Máster titulado Mehr Licht! surge como una investigación de las cualidades cromáticos-lumínicas. Este proyecto pretende materializar la luz mediante diferentes procedimientos; explorando la teoría del color y el poder que tienen tanto la variable lumínica como la cromática a la hora de modificar y reconfigurar los espacios en los que se encuentran, abriendo una nueva atmósfera de percepción. Esta investigación se ha materializado en tres vías que se encuentran desarrolladas al largo de este Trabajo de Final de Máster; una primera vía de carácter objetual empleando la luz como elemento presente, viendo como esta interfiere en el color; una vía instalativa caracterizada por la constitución de propuestas site-specific donde se utiliza la luz como elemento corpóreo y matérico capaz de habitar los espacios; y una tercera y última vía pictórica, viendo como las áreas cromáticas son capaces de convertirse en áreas de luz que dialogan con el entorno. Las obras que se dan como consecuencia, surgen de la necesidad de enfrentarse al entorno. Busca, de alguna manera, subvertir aquellas prioridades que creemos determinantes y cambiar ¿arrojando luz¿, nuestra manera de percibir lo que nos rodea, apelando a la sensibilidad visual, ya que construimos y conocemos el mundo a través de nuestra percepción.

[EN] This Final Master's Project entitled Mehr Licht! arises as an investigation of the chromatic-light qualities. This project aims to materialize light through different procedures; exploring the theory of color and the power that both light and chromatic variables have when it comes to modifying and reconfiguring the spaces in which they are found, opening a new atmosphere of perception. This research has materialized in three ways that are developed throughout this Final Master's Project; a first path of objectual nature using light as a present element, seeing how it interferes with color; an installation path characterized by the constitution of site-specific proposals where light is used as a corporeal and material element capable of inhabiting spaces; and a third and last pictorial way, seeing how the chromatic areas are capable of becoming areas of light that dialogue with the environment. The works that occur consequently arise from the need to face the environment. It seeks, in some way, to subvert those priorities that we believe to be determinant and to change "by shedding light", our way of perceiving what surrounds us, appealing to visual sensitivity, since we build and know the world through our perception.
