Algo Falla. Una aproximación entre el fake y las fallas

Abstract

[ES] El proyecto se articula en torno a la construcción de una falla experimental. Dicho contexto parte de un encargo realizado por la Asociación cultural falla plaza del árbol. De esta manera se piensa una intervención escultórica site especific. Es decir, el contenido conceptual de la falla rescatará la memoria o la huella que deja el paso del tiempo en los restos de los edificios del barrio de Ciutat Vella. Para ello se propone registrar gráficamente los azulejos restantes de los solares del barrio. De esta manera hacer un archivo de la memoria a través de la huella del paso de las personas por sus viviendas. Con esto, reproducir una imitación o ¿fake¿ en madera para posteriormente quemarlos en un contenedor de obra, dando fin mediante el fuego como hace el tiempo con los mismos. El contexto en este caso es importante, pues se aprovecha la fiesta de las fallas para la producción de la obra. Una oportunidad cultural que nutre el proyecto. En cuanto a la estética que envolverá el proyecto, girará en torno al ¿fake¿. Para ello se recreará una falsa marca de derribos denominada ¿Derribos Carmen¿. Como dice el titulo ¿Algo falla¿, es no saber donde está el limite entre la realidad o ficción, porque que son las fallas sino una parodia o imitación de lo real. La motivación principal es rescatar la memoria de algo que antes o después terminará por desaparecer. Hay que destacar que el atractivo que despierta tales objetos no deja de ser un aliciente considerable como motor del proyecto. Ese pasado necesario para entender el presente y rememorar en el futuro.
