CÓMO RESTAURAR UN HÓRREO GALLEGO.El caso del canastro da Barroca en Vide, As Neves

Abstract

[ES] La Ley de Patrimonio Cultural de Galicia considera como BIC a todos los hórreos gallegos construidos antes de 1901. Las personas propietarias, están obligadas a conservarlos, mantenerlos y custodiarlos debidamente y a evitar su pérdida, destrucción o deterioro.

¿Cómo se debe restaurar un hórreo gallego? Esta investigación tiene como objetivo dar respuesta a esta pregunta. Siguiendo los criterios de restauración establecidos por la Dirección General del Patrimonio Cultural de la Xunta de Galicia, se plantea la realización de un caso práctico, el proyecto de restauración del Canastro da Barroca en la parroquia de Santa María de Vide situada a orillas del Miño, en el pontevedrés Concello de As Neves.

Con la finalidad máxima de contribuir con este estudio a concienciar a la población gallega sobre la importancia de conservar y mantener los hórreos como uno de los símbolos de identidad del paisaje y patrimonio cultural de Galicia y poder transmitirlos a las generaciones futuras.

[EN] The Galician Cultural Heritage Law considers all Galician hórreos built before 1901 as BIC. The owners must conserve, repair and maintain them properly to prevent their loss, destruction or deterioration. How should a Galician hórreo be restored? This research aims to answer this question. Following the restoration criteria established by the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage of the Xunta de Galicia, a practical case study is proposed, the restoration project of the Canastro da Barroca in the parish of Santa María de Vide, located by the Miño, in the municipality of As Neves, Pontevedra. This study aims to raise awareness among the Galician population about the importance of preserving and maintaining the hórreos as one of the symbols of identity of the landscape and cultural heritage of Galicia and to be able to pass them on to future generations.
