ENTRE BLAUS. UN ITINERARIO INTROSPECTIVO

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto aborda un proceso pictórico desde la introspección, motivado por la observación de las pinturas realizadas durante los dos últimos años, reflejo de una búsqueda, un encuentro y una liberación. El azul es el color de la tristeza y también el de la calma, a la vez que, siendo de Mallorca, el que identificamos como hogar. Nos envuelve y nos acoge en su infinidad, y permite sumergirnos en él como espacio de desahogo y liberación. Así se pretende transformar los lugares de intimidad y reflexión en espacios monocromos mediante una pintura ritual, donde cada capa representa un paso de esta metamorfosis, tanto de la obra como de una misma. Un itinerario desde el azul tristeza al azul calma en el azul hogar, hasta conseguir un espacio donde ya no haya nada que observar, sino un espacio de contemplación donde dejarse llevar.

[EN] This project addresses a pictorial process from an introspective point of view, motivated by the observation of the paintings realized during the last two years, a reflection of a search, a finding and a liberation. Blue is the colour of sadness and also of calm and, at the same time, being from Mallorca, the colour that we identify as home. It surrounds us and embraces us in its infinity and we can immerse ourselves in it as a space of relief and liberation. Therefore, the aim of this project is to transform the places of intimacy and reflection into monochrome spaces by means of a ritual painting, where each layer represents a step in this metamorphosis, both of the work and of ourselves. An itinerary from sadness-blue to calm-blue in the home-blue, until we reach a space where there is nothing to observe, but a space of contemplation where letting oneself go.
