Diseño de mueble multifuncional para espacios flexibles de coviviendas

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto tiene como objeto desarrollar el diseño de un elemento de mobiliario que satisfaga las necesidades de un usuario concreto en un espacio determinado. Para ello, en primer lugar, se define el tipo de consumidor cuya situación y necesidades serán estudiadas en relación con la vivienda. Este consumidor, no necesariamente comprador, es un trabajador joven con dificultades para emanciparse debido a los altos precios tanto de compra como de alquiler de las viviendas. Se concluye que una buena alternativa es la covivienda, formar parte de una vivienda compartida que se caracteriza por ser asequible, flexible y, sobre todo, cómoda para los jóvenes. Los espacios comunes son los más importantes de este tipo de viviendas, principalmente los espacios de reunión y trabajo. Estos lugares suelen ser espacios flexibles cuya funcionalidad puede variar según las necesidades momentáneas de los habitantes. Por ello, el mobiliario de dichos espacios debe ser capaz de adaptarse a cada situación y de satisfacer a los inquilinos en sus distintas actividades colectivas. Durante el desarrollo del producto se van a valorar diferentes opciones y su aportación funcional a este tipo de vivienda, teniendo en cuenta también las tendencias formales del momento y las preferencias de la muestra estudiada. Una vez seleccionada la propuesta final, se estudiarán los materiales y el sistema de producción teniendo en cuenta la importancia de la sostenibilidad y la consideración de los ODS. Como resultado se presentará una memoria descriptiva del proceso, los planos del mueble y sus elementos, el pliego de condiciones y un presupuesto aproximado de la propuesta final.

[EN] The aim of this project is to develop the design of a piece of furniture that meets the needs of a specific user in a specific space. To that end, first of all, the type of consumer whose situation and needs will be studied in relation to housing is defined. This consumer, not necessarily the buyer, is a young worker with difficulties becoming emancipated due to the high prices of both buying and renting housing. It is concluded that coliving is a good alternative, being part of a shared housing that is affordable, flexible and comfortable for young people. Common spaces are the most important in this type of housing, mainly meeting and workspaces. These spaces tend to be changeable places whose functionality can vary according to the momentary needs of the inhabitants. For this reason, the furniture in these spaces must be able to adapt to each situation and to satisfy the tenants in their different collective activities. During the development of the product, different options and their functional contribution to this type of housing will be assessed, also taking into account current formal trends and the preferences of the sample studied. Once the final proposal has been selected, the materials and the production system will be studied taking into account the importance of sustainability and the consideration of the SDGs. As a result, a descriptive report of the process, the plans of the furniture and its elements, the specifications and an approximate budget of the final proposal will be presented.
