dc.description.abstract | [EN] Due to the high interest in lightening and automating the transport of cargo in ports and airports, as well as the need for the processes involved to have certain sustainability and environmental preservation measures, the company Zeleros is developing a project with which it intends to apply its hyperloop technology to the autonomous and electric transport of cargo containers in the port of Sagunto. As a consequence, in the present work the aerodynamic characterization by means of CFD of the aforementioned prototype will be carried out, studying two geometric versions of it due to limitations due to computational cost. However, these variants represent two extreme cases of real geometry, so the solution for the case of interest will be bounded between the results of each one of the cases. In this way, the study is going to broach an analysis at different displacement speeds, with which it is mainly intended to determine its drag coefficient and the power required, which would allow an initial sizing of the electric motor. In addition, the distribution of speed and pressure around the vehicle will be analyzed, identifying the phenomena that give rise to its particularities and relating it to the variations in the geometry imposed, consequently allowing to know the advantages and disadvantages that the modification of the original design would have towards each one of the limit cases. | es_ES |
