¡Qué chula! ¿La vas a pintar? Representación pictórica de lo fugaz y festivo

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto consiste en la realización de una serie de obras donde se representan momentos espontáneos, festivos y de amistad. Partiendo de la fotografía doméstica, recopilación de sucesos graciosos, emotivos, felices entre amigos, familiares y gente cercana, se pretende revalorizarlos mediante su fijación pictórica usando el óleo y acrílico sobre lienzo como materia y soporte.

El tema principal de este trabajo es la cotidianidad y lo diario y uno de sus objetivos principales es el de su exaltamiento mediante un reflejo colectivo. Tratar de materializar esos instantes fugaces que suceden en el día a día y que nos define como comunidad es lo que nos permite llevar a cabo la propuesta. El trato figurativo de la pintura nos facilita esa identificación y cercanía que podemos y puede tener el espectador al observar las obras.

Tras el estudio teórico y usando como principal recurso referencial las instantáneas fotográficas, podemos conformar una metodología de trabajo donde la diversión, comicidad, crítica y satisfacción pictórica ocupan un puesto principal. Tratamos de entender el porqué del afán, tanto individual como colectivo, por la captura fotográfica, mediante el estudio y la reflexión de diferentes disciplinas y puntos de vista.

Por último, desde lo lúdico y visual, pictóricamente hablando, pretendemos tratar un tema social que sufrimos hoy en día como es la sobre-saturación de imágenes. Materializar de forma artística esos instantes que probablemente pasen desapercibidos o se olviden, nos permite luchar en contra del olvido, por el miedo que nos causa el dejar ciertos momentos vividos atrás.

[EN] This project consists in the realization of a series of works where spontaneous, festive and friendly moments are represented. Starting from domestic photography, a compilation of funny, emotional and happy events among friends, family and close people, we intend to revalue them through their pictorial fixation using oil and acrylic on canvas as material and support.

The main theme of this work is the everyday and the daily life and one of its main objectives is to exalt them through a collective reflection. Trying to materialize those fleeting moments that happen on a daily basis and that define us as a community is what allows us to carry out the proposal. The figurative treatment of the painting facilitates the identification and closeness that we can and can have the viewer to observe the works.

After the theoretical study and using as main referential resource the photographic snapshots, we can conform a work methodology where fun, comicality, criticism and pictorial satisfaction occupy a main position. We try to understand the reason for the individual and collective eagerness for photographic capture, through the study and reflection of different disciplines and points of view.

Finally, from the playful and visual, pictorially speaking, we intend to address a social issue that we suffer today as is the over-saturation of images. Materializing in an artistic way those moments that probably go unnoticed or forgotten, allows us to fight against oblivion, because of the fear that causes us to leave certain moments lived behind.
