Abstract

[ES] Descenso es un proyecto instalativo formado por nueve obras, cada una de ellas, basada en uno de los círculos del Infierno de la Divina Comedia, novela de Dante Alighieri. En esta, se narra el paso del alter-ego del autor por los nueve anillos que constituyen el infierno, donde cada uno de ellos tiene atribuido un pecado y una condena consecuente. Esta propuesta, tiene intención de representar la simbología más destacada de cada anillo a raíz de una interpretación personal y mediante una investigación teórica previa, siguiendo la línea de la obra original. A partir de una variedad de disciplinas artísticas, se busca formar un concepto global que abarque las nueve obras y el cual concluye con la realización de una exposición individual que permite al espectador sumergirse en la atmósfera descrita en la novela.

[EN] Descenso is an installation project made up of nine works, each one of them based on one of the circles of the Inferno of the Divine Comedy, a novel by Dante Alighieri. The novel narrates the passage of the author's alter-ego through the nine rings that constitute hell, where each one of them is attributed a sin and a consequent condemnation. This proposal intends to represent the most outstanding symbolism of each ring as a result of a personal interpretation and through a previous theoretical research, following the line of the original work. From a variety of artistic disciplines, it seeks to form a global concept that encompasses the nine works which concludes with the realization of an individual exhibition and will allow the viewer to immerse themselves in the atmosphere described in the novel.
