[ES] The present final degree project titled "Development of the Business Model of a TripleImpact Startup in the Textile Sector: UpStyle" aims to design and validate the business model of
a startup with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility in the fashion industry. Through
the application of Ash Maurya's startup creation methodology, a comprehensive market analysis
has been conducted, and a business plan has been developed covering key aspects such as
market segmentation, marketing strategy, cost structure, distribution channels, and metrics.
The project focuses on the collection of unused garments and their transformation through
upcycling techniques, in order to promote circular economy principles and generate
employment opportunities for women at risk of exclusion and victims of gender violence.
Additionally, the environmental impact of the activity has been considered by evaluating the
carbon emissions avoided per transformed garment. The project's conclusion highlights the
importance of triple-impact startups as agents of change in the textile industry and emphasizes
the relevance of integrating economic, social, and environmental aspects in business decisionmaking. This Industrial Organization Engineering project represents a contribution to the field
of sustainability in the textile sector, with the potential to inspire other entrepreneurs and
promote a more ethical and responsible fashion industry.
