ELLE, le Villane Valenciane (III). Producción de un corto animado 2D. Dirección de animación, color script, animación y clean-up.

Abstract

[ES] Elle, le Villane Valencie es un cortometraje de animación 2D con perspectiva de género para un target joven/adulto. Este aborda la preproducción, producción y primera difusión del mismo. Este TFG ha sido desarrollado en equipo junto a Manuel Pozo y María Soler, asumiendo cada miembro un rol específico del proyecto en sus diversas etapas. Contamos con la colaboración de Sabina García y Claudia Ros. Nuestro trabajo se ha centrado sobre todo en: Dirección de animación, animación rough, intercalado, clean up y color script. Este cortometraje narra el origen de nuestra protagonista, Elle, un joven no binarie que vive en una sociedad absurdamente cis-hetero-patriarcal en Valencia. Nuestra protagonista se dirige hacia la Plaça de l'Ajuntament para ¿el día del Orgullo¿. Aquí se mostrarán ejemplos del acoso callejero que sufre el colectivo y del que nuestra protagonista es víctima. Cambiará por completo su actitud ante la discriminación debido a un acto determinante, creando así su alter-ego drag, une antihéroe en busca de la igualdad y el respeto para les suyes sin importar el medio para conseguirlo. El objetivo de este proyecto es enlazar los conocimientos aprendidos en nuestro paso por el Grado en Bella Artes en general y particularmente desde la animación, con la intención de desarrollar una historia ficticia, que conciencie sobre el acoso diario dirigido hacia el colectivo LGBTIQ+, en concreto a las personas no binaries, y la necesidad de visibilizarlo, en este caso mediante el alter ego drag de la protagonista.

[EN] Elle, le Villane Valencie is a 2D animated short film with a gender perspective for a young/adult target. It deals with the pre-production, production and first diffusion of the film. This TFG has been developed as a team with Manuel Pozo and María Soler, each member assuming a specific role in the project in its various stages. We had the collaboration of Sabina García and Claudia Ros. Our work has focused mainly on: Animation direction, rough animation, inbetweening, clean up and color script. This short film narrates the origin of our protagonist, Elle, a young non-binary living in an absurdly cis-hetero-patriarchal society in Valencia. Our protagonist is heading towards Plaça de l'Ajuntament for "Pride day". Here will be shown examples of street harassment suffered by the collective and of which our protagonist is a victim. They will completely change their attitude when they are discriminated against due to a decisive act, thus creating their drag alter-ego, an anti-hero in search of equality and respect for their peers no matter what means they use to achieve it. The aim of this project is to link the knowledge learned in our passage through the Degree in Fine Arts in general and particularly from the animation, with the intention of developing a fictional story, to raise awareness about the daily harassment directed towards the LGBTIQ+ community, in particular to non-binary people, and the need to make them visible, in this case by means of an animated film.
