Residencia universitaria, Jardín del Turia.

[ES] En el margen del Jardín del Turia en Valencia, se ubica la residencia de estudiantes universitarios, un edificio compuesto de cuatro alas disgregadas en la planta baja en algunos puntos estratégicos, para así poder generar relaciones entre los espacios buscando albergar y aunar diversos usos fomentando la interacción, combinándolos entre sí. La disposición del edificio permite recorrerlo desde diferentes caminos, lo que lo convierte en un espacio fluido y le da continuidad al jardín trasero del Ivam. De este modo, funciona como nodo urbano conectando y articulando el barrio del Carmen a través de sus espacios y las actividades que se llevan a cabo en él. Se trata de un edificio híbrido que contiene conjuntos habitacionales, lugares de ocio, comercio y culturales. Se convertirá en un lugar donde podrán coexistir los residentes con el vecindario transformándose en una ventaja para ambos.

[EN] On the edge of the Turia Garden in Valencia, the university students' residence is located, a building composed of four wings broken up on the first floor at some strategic points, in order to generate relationships between the spaces, seeking to house and combine different uses, encouraging interaction and combining them with each other. The layout of the building allows to walk through it from different paths, which makes it a fluid space and gives continuity to the Ivam's back garden. In this way, it functions as an urban node connecting and articulating the neighborhood of El Carmen through its spaces and the activities that take place in it. It is a hybrid building containing housing complexes, leisure, commercial and cultural venues. It will become a place where residents and the neighborhood can coexist, becoming an advantage for both.
