[EN] The revolution that Fintech has represented in recent years has allowed it to take advantage of the challenges posed by new technologies and big data. In this context, the present paper analyses the sustainable profile of current FinTech and InsurTech companies based on a group of determinants defined from three dimensions: CO2 emissions; obtaining green certificates and sustainability rankings; alignment with sustainable development goals (SDG). Using the KBW and Nasdaq FinTech Index and the NASDAQ Insurance Index (IXIS), we composed a panel of 95 companies over a 10-year period (2010-2019) with economic-financial variables, and data about green certificates and sustainability indices. The applied methodology is based on dynamic (GMM-SYS) and static (PCSE) panel data models. The results show that the fintech companies that are larger, more profitable, less indebted and younger report on CSR and encourage volunteering and have a more sustainable profile.[-]
