[EN] The objective of the present TFG is to design and manufacture a crane hook with optimum strength and load properties that allow the lifting and handling of weights up to 19600N, which would be equivalent to masses of up to 2T approx. To address this objective, the project will be divided into several stages. Firstly, a study of the most suitable materials for the manufacture of the hook will be carried out and the most optimal one for the required function will be selected. Next, a prototype of the hook will be made with the help of 3D modeling software, such as AutoCAD® and SolidWorks® in which different designs will be considered. Once the prototype is designed, analytical calculations will be performed to evaluate whether the hook meets the needs required for its function, supporting software to verify the results obtained. Finally, the manufacturing process of the final hook will be analyzed, considering different techniques such as forging, casting and machining, to determine the most appropriate technique according to cost, quality and production time
