Centro y viviendas para mayores en Benimàmet

Abstract

[ES] Desde la adhesión del pueblo de Benimàmet al término municipal de Valencia, este nuevo barrio ha sufrido muchas modificaciones. Con la especulación inmobiliaria, el aumento de los nacimientos y los movimientos migratorios, tanto de otras regiones de España como fuera de ella, hemos visto como el número de habitantes de Benimàmet ha aumentado de forma considerable. Todo esto ha provocado que se haya generado un aumento de inmuebles, eliminando las zonas naturales que lo rodeaban. El proyecto comienza con la generación de un máster plan que reorganice la zona este del barrio, donde el espacio verde se convierte en el eje vertebrador del proyecto, donde se une con zonas verdes colindantes y componiendo un único espacio verde. Del máster plan surge un edificio que intenta mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas mayores, promoviendo el envejecimiento activo y las relaciones entre los usuarios, consiguiendo de esa forma evitar el desarraigo y la soledad de estas personas. Para ello, el edifico se compone de un centro de mayores en planta baja con distintos servicios y un grupo de viviendas en el resto de las plantas que se organizan en distintas tipologías, yendo desde viviendas para usuarios independientes hasta viviendas para personas dependientes que necesiten ayuda en algunos aspectos de la vida cotidiana.

[EN] Since the accession of the village of Benimàmet to the municipality of Valencia, this new neighbourhood has undergone many changes. With property speculation, the increase in births and migratory movements, both from other regions of Spain and abroad, we have seen a considerable increase in the number of inhabitants of Benimàmet. All this has led to an increase in real estate, eliminating the natural areas that surrounded it. The project begins with the generation of a master plan that reorganises the eastern area of the neighbourhood, where the green space becomes the backbone of the project, where it joins with neighbouring green areas and composes a single green space. From the master plan emerges a building that seeks to improve the quality of life of the elderly, promoting active ageing and relationships between users, thus avoiding the uprooting and loneliness of these people. To this end, the building is made up of a centre for the elderly on the ground floor with different services and a group of homes on the rest of the floors that are organised into different typologies, ranging from homes for independent users to homes for dependent people who need help in some aspects of daily life.
