[EN] Through both their practice and research projects, AgwA offers us a fascinating exploration of practice. Over the years, their work has increasingly shown traces of our most crucial contemporary questions. It has also borne witness to a desire to broaden the field of architecture, seeing it as a moment when all things come into contact. Today, AgwA is often engaged in partnerships with international offices, a development that marks the second shift of the Belgian architectural scene: policies to regulate architectural quality have been consolidated, competitions are on the increase, and teams are more and more interdisciplinary and international. BAST, architecten jan de vylder inge vinck, 6a, Office Kersten Geers David Van Severen, Caractère Spécial and Dogma are all in AgwA s address book, and they have worked alongside them on increasingly important projects. Among these, as always, a set of some unrewarding and singular heritage buildings, projects that reflect the profound transformation of our relationship to heritage and the value of buildings. Other ventures have led them to a number of competitions in France, to memorial sites in El Salvador, and to China for an embassy. But at bottom AgwA remains strongly attached to Belgium. Keen on commissions and unable to say thanks, but no thanks, they are now engaged in a number of exciting projects. As eager as ever to build.
