Il Bisonte. De la resistència a la gràfica

Abstract

[ES] Un anno grande, és un treball que comença arran l investigació de la història que hi ha al darrere la fundació i escola internacional de gràfica d art Il Bisonte. Una fundació que neix a mans de guerrillers durant l època de resistència de la ciutat de Florencia en runes, després de la Segona Guerra Mundial, amb l objectiu de fer-la reviure mitjançant l eina de la gràfica. A dia d avui, Il Bisonte continua traçant històries entre joves d arreu del món a través d un únic desig: mantenir viva la força i l esperit de la gràfica i les tècniques del gravat calcogràfic en una contemporaneïtat que està en continua evolució i canvi.

Aquest projecte, es compon d una sèrie de gravats calcogràfics que prenen com a inspiració aquest relat històric. A més, posa a prova el treball col·lectiu entre un grup internacional de joves de diferents realitats, mitjançant l elaboració d un llibre d artista que parla de resistència. Aquest treball té per objectiu fer homenatge a la figura de Maria Luigia Guaita, ex partisana durant la guerra a la ciutat de Florència i fundadora de La Fondazione Il Bisonte i a tots els companys que la feren possible.

[EN] Un anno grande, is a project that begins following the investigation of the history behind the foundation and international school of graphic art Il Bisonte. A foundation born through the hands of guerrillas during the period of resistance of the city of Florence in ruins, after the Second World War, with the aim of reviving it through the tool of graphics. To this day, Il Bisonte continues to trace stories between young people from all over the world through a single objective: to keep the power of graphics alive and the engraving techniques in a contemporaneity of continuous evolution and change.

This project will be composed of a series of chalcographic engravings that take this historical account as inspiration. In addition, it will test the collective work between young people from different realities by creating an artist's book that talks about resistance. The aim of this project is to pay tribute to the figure of Maria Luigia Guaita, former partisan during the war in the city of Florence and founder of La Fondazione Il Bisonte and to all the colleagues who made it possible.
