[EN] The present proposal arises from the collaboration with the PEGASO research team in the framework of the project Analysis and development of HBIM integration in GIS for the creation of a tourism planning protocol for the cultural heritage of a destination (ref. PID2020-119088RB-I00), funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation), during my Master studies. This work focuses on the analysis of data obtained through camera monitoring techniques for visitor counting in the urban heritage environment of the Cathedral of Valencia. Historical centers, frequently visited by tourists, face challenges in managing visitor flow due to their urban characteristics, such as narrow streets and traffic restrictions that favor pedestrian traffic. This high concentration of heritage and cultural assets can lead to situations of saturation and congestion, which negatively impacts the quality of the visitor experience, the lives of residents and the preservation of heritage elements, and even the safety of people. The knowledge of the carrying capacity and the dynamics of its overflow, must become a fundamental and easy to use tool for the planning and tourism management of these cultural assets of great architectural, cultural and social value by local managers. In this work the data obtained through the treatment and analysis of the data obtained by means of sensors of movement by image that are translated in a count of people that by means of the experimental analysis takes us to establish patterns that allow us to establish some standards of comfort, congestion and risk. The determination of these standards with the maintenance of this monitoring in real time, will facilitate a predictive management of these urban heritage areas.
