Estudi proposta introducció Pla Director Casa Tàbio o Casa de la Seda.

[CA] La finalitat del present TFM va a ser la redacció d'una proposta introductòria de Pla Director de la Casa Tàbio, edifici singular situat al cantó entre el carrer de la Garrofera i el carrer del Forn, amb porta en el número 8 del mateix, al municipi de Catadau. L'edifici va ser tant habitatge com a lloc de treball en els segles passats i, en dir açò, hem de tindre en compte que la vida en aquelles èpoques no separava la residència del treball. Per tant, és molt més que una casa, és un lloc que ens parla de l'activitat econòmica i domèstica que existia al poble de Catadau i a tota la regió. Per conèixer a fons aquest edifici es comença amb l'explicació de quins són els objectius a satisfer en aquesta tasca i amb quina metodologia s ha emprat.

Cal destacar que l'edifici està inclòs com a edifici protegit en les normes subsidiàries de planejament vigents en el municipi, redactades en 1988 en tràmits de ser declarat Bé de Rellevància Local i que es troba en la immediatesa de les restes del castell de Catadau, declarat Bé d'Interès Cultural amb el codi de registre 46.20.093-001 dins l'inventari General del Patrimoni Valencià.

Ens trobem davant un edifici que respon a la tipologia arquitectònica de casa amb cambra sedera desenvolupada, és dir, que té una major alçada amb la finalitat d'incrementar el nombre de nivells de canyissos per a la cria del cuc de seda. Parteix de la casa de dues plantes, tipus bàsic que es va canonitzar al segle XVIII i es va difondre per les comarques costaneres situades entre la Safor i el Camp de Morvedre, on predominaven conreus de regadiu i, per tant, la sericultura es trobava prou estesa.

[EN] The purpose of this TFM will be the drafting of an introductory proposal for the Master Plan of Casa Tàbio, a unique building located on the corner between Carrer de la Garrofera and Carrer del Forn, with a door at number 8 of the same, in the municipality of Catadau. The building was both a home and a workplace in past centuries and, in saying this, we must bear in mind that life in those times did not separate residence from work. Therefore, it is much more than a house, it is a place that tells us about the economic and domestic activity that existed in the town of Catadau and in the entire region. To get to know this building in-depth, it begins with the explanation of what are the objectives to be met in this task and with what methodology it has been used.

It should be noted that the building is included as a protected building in the subsidiary planning regulations in force in the municipality, drafted in 1988 in the process of being declared an Asset of Local Relevance and that it is located near the remains of the castle of Catadau, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest with the registration code 46.20.093-001 within the General Inventory of Valencian Heritage.

We are in front of a building that responds to the architectural typology of a house with a developed silk chamber, that is, it has a greater height to increase the number of levels of reeds for the breeding of the silkworm. It starts from the two-storey house, a basic type that was canonized in the eighteenth century and spread throughout the coastal regions located between La Safor and Camp de Mourvedre, where irrigated crops predominated and, therefore, sericulture was quite widespread.
