Through a comparative analysis of selected European metropolitan areas, the research examines policy initiatives, digital health innovations, and public-private partnerships designed to balance the medical needs of both residents and visitors. The findings underscore the significance of adaptive planning, integrated emergency response mechanisms, and sustainable funding models in alleviating the strain on urban health services. The study concludes by presenting a strategic framework that promotes synergy between the tourism sector and healthcare delivery, ensuring long-term sustainability and equitable access in rapidly evolving urban environments.

[ES] El rápido aumento del turismo urbano en las ciudades europeas ha ejercido una presión creciente sobre los sistemas locales de salud, generando preocupaciones respecto a su capacidad para ofrecer servicios eficaces y equitativos. Este estudio explora estrategias innovadoras para fortalecer la resiliencia y eficiencia de los sistemas de salud urbanos, al tiempo que aborda los desafíos que plantea el turismo de masas. A través de un análisis comparativo de ciudades europeas seleccionadas, la investigación examina intervenciones políticas, soluciones digitales en salud y asociaciones público-privadas orientadas a equilibrar las necesidades sanitarias de residentes y visitantes. Los hallazgos subrayan la importancia de una planificación sanitaria adaptativa, sistemas integrados de respuesta ante emergencias y modelos de financiación sostenibles para mitigar la presión sobre las infraestructuras de salud urbana.
