LOS ORÍGENES DE LA IGLESIA-FORTALEZA DE CASTIELFABIB. ANÁLISIS GRÁFICOS

Abstract

[EN] The church at Castielfabib was originally a Moorish castle. After the Christian conquest of Spain it was modified and converted into a tower which paid homage to the conquerors. Later the tower was altered and extended and turned into a Christian church. There are no existing documents concerning these changes. A graphical survey and analysis of the measurement systems used in its construction have allowed us to determine the constructive evolution of the building.

[ES] La iglesia-fortaleza de Castielfabib tiene su origen en un castillo árabe. Tras la conquista fue modificado para convertirlo en torre del homenaje. Posteriormente la torre fue intervenida y ampliada para convertirla en iglesia. No existe documentación de estos cambios. El levantamiento gráfico y el análisis de los sistemas de medidas empleados en la construcción han permitido determinar la evolución constructiva del monumento.
