dc.description.abstract | [EN] The following project paper has three main parts regarding the sewer system of Solbjerg, the waste water treatment plant of Solbjerg and the building of a new dairy. The first part introduces the sewer system of Solbjerg. In this part, analysis of performance and capacity of the existing combined sewer system in Solbjerg BO32, using the model system Mike Urban, is made. Moreover, the given data from CCTV-inspections is evaluated to find fitting results for the performance of the sewer system. With these results the capacity problems in the network are found. Occurring problems are the negative slopes, flooding, and pipes, which should be renovated. Solutions like no-dig methods, new pipes and building basins are suggested, explained detailed and displayed. The following part shows detailed information about the waste water treatment plant of Solbjerg. Description of the plant in detail, including the treatment process and requirements, are presented. Inlet and outlet data of the plant is used to analyze the present performance of the WWTP and calculate the key parameters of the operation. The evaluation of the present calculated parameters and the future capacity contains a successful performance and the ability to handle an increased future flow in respect to increasing industry and population. The third, and final part, is the building of a new dairy located in Solbjerg. The dairy managers requested that, there would be research carried out for a possible solution to handle the waste water problem. In order to suggest options, an analysis of the increased treatment plant capacity and performance of Solbjerg is carried out. Furthermore, an installation of a pre-treatment at the dairy industry is suggested and calculated. The calculations lead to a recommended solution of an SBR treatment at the plant, with discharge into the lake of Solbjerg. | es_ES |
