[EN] During my stay in Ireland and in the University of Limerick, I realized that in the car park of the University there aren¿t any system to organize the number of free places is available in a given area. The main goal of our design was to develop a system that allowed to show the number of free places. For this project we use the microcontroller PIC18F (Microchip), it controls exits and entries on the car park. The designer decides the maximum number of places that will be available at the beginning, and the microcontroller adds or subtracts depending on the vehicles coming in or exit from the car park. The entries and exits would be detected by spires, when the cars cross over them a change in the frequency is produced and detected by oscillator, with this system we can know if there is a car because the engine of the vehicle changes the operation frequency and this change will be sensed.
