dc.description.abstract | [EN] Concrete delamination in bridge decks, industrial floors and concrete pavements in general is a problem that affects both comfort of users and integrity of the slab itself. This type of failure is a complex problem and requires special knowledge to treat it. This paper gives the reader all the ideas that must know related to delamination of concrete: definitions, causes, detection, recommendations and examples, among others. This report deals with an extensive analysis of the parameters that cause delamination. The main part of the paper is based on defining monitoring techniques that are used nowadays to detect it. These methods will be widely described and explained so that it can be easier to choose one of them when delamination is present in any structure and a delamination survey has to be done. To make this easier, a table of comparisons, advantages and disadvantages of each method can help to make that choice. Focusing on monitoring techniques, some ideas are given to delete some of the disadvantages that current methods have, such as they are time consuming. Finally some recommendations are also given to prevent, repair and detect it more accurately. | es_ES |
