dc.description.abstract | This project is about simulating data scheduling on railway systems, in order to keep railway systems up-todate application/content-wise.Due to the continued digitalization of railway systems, more and more data needs to be exchanged between the wayside (stations, depots, central management, etc.) and the different (types of) trains.This data can be: (real-time) monitoring/control data, critical and non-critical software updates, on-board internet for travelers, multimedia (e.g. for entertainment purposes). Some of this data (e.g. critical application updates) needs to be transferred as soon as possible / with the highest priority over a costly 3g/4g connection, while other data (e.g. multimedia content updates) can be sent over in a depot via Wi-Fi when no critical updates are needed. | es_ES |
