Wind power exploitation. Mechanical and energy aspects of wind turbines

[EN] This project foundation is the study, application and viability of wind turbines as a suitable alternative source of generating energy in the form of electricity. First of all, there is an introduction to the world of wind energy, after this more subjects related to wind energy will be explored: its origins, measure study, etc. and at end of this section, the main issue of this work will be treated in depth, the wind turbines, detailing all its components, its functioning and all the aspects related to these machines. An exhaustive study on a real problem will be carried out, the study of the relationship between the enormous amount of wind farms installed in the North Sea and the strong flooding in countries like Poland, Czech Republic and Germany, calculating. Furthermore, it will be checked the increase in air temperature when the air goes through the wind turbines.
