La tradición cromatica a recuperar. La recuperación del color tradicional del centro histórico de Ontinyent

Abstract

Las arquitecturas que forman parte del patrimonio cultural de un pueblo, como es el caso de Ontinyent tienen un valor de fuerte impacto visual como es el color, por lo que su importancia se nos revela como de una variable relevante dentro de los aspectos arquitectónicos que se pretenden salvaguardar. La recuperación de estos colores no se puede dejar a el simple gusto o tendencia, o en el mejor de los casos a una imitación de tonos que no resuman en si mismos la carga tradicional y por ende histórica que toda que toda construcción del pasado pueda tener. Es necesario abordar la tarea dentro de una metodología que salvaguarde tantos lo valores tradicionales, como estéticos y tecnológicos que en su momento hicieron posible la construcción que se intenta recuperar. La analítica fisicoquímica, los análisis historiográficos y un profundo estudio de las topologías a recuperar, forman parte de la metodología que garante una intervención responsable y respetuosa con el pasado histórico.

The architecture that forms a part of a small town¿s cultural heritage, as the case of Ontinyent demonstrates, beholds a strong visual impact due to its colour. Its importance is revealed to us as a prominent variable within the architectural aspects that are intended to safeguard themselves. The recovery of the colours cannot be left to mere taste or tendency or in the majority of cases to an imitation of the tones that do not include the traditional charge and therefore all the historical make up that they may have. It is necessary to approach the task within a methodology that safeguards the traditional values as well as the esthetical and technological ones, which would make the construction of what is intended to be recovered, possible. The physic-chemical analysis, the historical analysis and a rigorous study of the typology to recover, form parts of the methodology that guarantees an intervention that is responsible and respectful to the historical past.
