dc.description.abstract | An analysis is made into the feasibility of developing a videogame in a tight schedule while adding a challenging multi-agent artificial intelligence ingame. The project goes through some ways to accomplish the very demanding deadline of making a videogame with only one person. It starts by making some assumptions into how to save time down the road and eventually compares and picks a game engine for the purpose. Then it details a game design document to make clear what is needed to build and what behaviour to expect from the different entities of the game. Once on the development stage it describes the work that has been done towards making a multi-agent artificial intelligence driven combat game with inviting visuals and level design to exploring. Simple testing and verification of the game features follows next and near the end some results are drawn from looking at the output and comparing it to the initial objectives and some feedback from the Department of Computing Showcase 2012. Finally conclusions are drawn that for a single man project and given the time to build a working game the results are impressive, yet need more work to make it into a real game experience today's users are used to. | es_ES |
