dc.description.abstract [EN] The report includes analysis of the existing sewer system and wastewater treatment plant in Solberg. As the village is subjected to a significant growth, the increase of wastewater is expected. The sewer system is analysed with the hydrodynamic model MOUSE with rain events statistically occurring once every 10 years. With this software it has been checked the sewer system of Solberg and fix it. Analysis of present operation and performance of the plant was made using real data from 2008. Key process parameters were calculated and compared with values from literature. Then the vacant capacity was estimated and suggestions for improved operation of the WWTP were made. In this project, the optional part talks about the possibilities of discharging the wastewater from a new created dairy in Solberg. It was decided to concentrate and evaluate pre- treatment of wastewater and the optimalization of the SBR reactor. es_ES
