dc.description.abstract | [EN] The aim of this project is the construction and the initial operation of a triple-effect absorption cooling machine. So, in the following pages will be explained all the steps done and all the problems solved to reach the target of this project. At the beginning, the design of the installation was done, most of the materials were bought and pre-assembled. Also the software was mostly programmed. But, the installation had to be changed partly, so all the pipes had to be cut and welded. Then, all the sensors and all the electric devices were inserted in the installation and connected to the data bus. The final program was programmed as a mixture of the existing ones. And finally, the tests were done to analyse that the flow meters were still calibrated after some time without using them, the heat exchanger could exchange enough heat, and the pumps and the heater were controlled with the program. After constructing and starting up the installation, there are some points that they need to be solved, like the overflow valve, which its opening pressure is very high. Another point necessary to review is the motor protection switch of the switching cabinet, because some of these switches are not adequate under the working conditions. In the future, the next steps necessary to realise are: ¿ Optimizing the programs for the automatic control of the plant ¿ Setting the optimal parameters for the PID controllers. ¿ Calibrating the temperature sensors of the installation. ¿ Connecting the installation to the Water/LiBr installation ¿ Starting up the triple-effect mode. | es_ES |
