dc.description.abstract [EN] Linear programming models have been used for many years within the operations research field in order to solve real life problems related to several and different areas such as production, transport systems, logistics, distribution networks, etc. During these years, existing solvers have been improved and new ones have appeared, trying to obtain better or optimal solutions in less time. In addition, and supporting the improvements of the solvers, computers have experimented and exponential growth in speed and capacity allowing users to solve problems that were not possible to solve before and at the same time using less time for it. es_ES
