[ES] The purpose of this work is to simulate in a MATLAB® environment the milling process monitoring by means of the variation of the spindle rotational frequency of the machine. The work was divided into two parts, the first was to simulate the machining process of a surface, in our case a corner, in order to obtain, in the second part, the variation of the spindle rotational frequency of the milling cutter, and thereby, being able to detect if there is tool wear, which is our final goal. The most interesting points in this work were: the complexity of trajectory of the teeth in the corner, the necessity of a program that can be used with different number of teeth, radius, etc. and the speed of the program, since the number of samples (points) required for the simulation can be high sometimes. By means of parameterization, and taking advantage of the peculiarities of the trajectory and the movement of the teeth, these problems were solved.
