[EN] The main objective lies in obtaining conclusions determined on-hand by experimental procedures on a machine-tool, in which the man, the machine, processes and tools should be considered accurate. By means of the use of methods for analyzing and monitoring data and through the enactment of the different scenarios, the purpose is to get enough information about the performance of the machine-tool purpose of the study. The machine-tool used is a prototype of a micro-milling machine conducted by numerical control, which produces pieces for watches. The special accuracy of this machine helps to identify small deviations that could characterize future behaviors or failures in the machine. Through the definition and execution of different tests, the objective is to reach and detail the standard patterns of the device’s function, and the influences or significant variations that could appear in each process. Also, to establish enough “know-how”, which allows, in hindsight, to optimize the device utilization, progress in the maintenance preventive processes and establish a possible service pack to the final customer. Therefore, the main parameters will be varied and a set of possible errors that could theoretically happen in the day-to- day function of the device is going to be induced. Both these points will help to simulate reality as closely as possible. The body is going to include the exhaustive analysis of these scenarios, stood by a set of graphs and tables which will allow an easy way to reach the defined objective. It is important to specify that the extracted data throughout the report have been handled manually or through macros, and in a cooperative work, this data dealing will be automatized. In summary, the main challenge faced in this thesis is to be able to identify and anticipate the different behaviors to help the staff of providers in the industrial product-service system to improve their tools for decision-making. Finally, to provide the context of this research, it belongs to a bigger project from a research center in the Ruhr-Universität in Bochum in collaboration with the Technische Universität of Berlin called “Transregio 29” (TR-29) with the title “Industrial Product Service Systems – Dynamic Interdependency of Products and Services in the Production Area”. Specifically from the Project Area B: Performance and Utilization, part B3: Automatic Knowledge Generation.
