Posibles pautas para una acción vital sobre el deterioro

Abstract

[ES] La creciente acumulación de residuos nos plantea posibles pautas para intervenir el nuevo entorno cambiante. Este pensar implica buscar y definir modelos que permitan enfrentarnos a las arquitecturas sin uso. Previo a su demolición o rehabilitación, podemos establecer como actitud ética la preservación y exaltación de la vida natural de toda construcción del hombre. Para ello, nos instruimos de los modelos válidos acometidos en proyectos de paisaje y, especialmente, de jardín porque, en su voluntad de crear entornos placenteros, la vida en toda su amplitud se hace presente para poderla aprehender. El tránsito desde la persistencia de lo mismo, que establece posturas que idealizan el paisaje, hasta la nueva valoración del cambio alternativo, implica ahondar en la complejidad de las variables de lo natural. Dirigir la mirada a lo biológico verifica que, en su alternancia permanente, nace una nueva estética ligada a los principios ecológicos que ponen en valor el devenir del tiempo. Toda unidad arquitectónica que nace de la unión de lo preexistente -soporte- con lo nuevo -aporte- nos ofrece la oportunidad de razonar el sentido de lo Otro. Apoyados en el pensamiento de Lévinas, nos acercamos a una actitud ética que, complementada con los variados planteamientos estéticos característicos del hecho arquitectónico, nos conduce a abrirnos al gozo estético de lo Otro. La atención a lo natural en toda arquitectura nos aporta la experiencia de conseguir una existencia consecuente con la vida.

[EN] The growing accumulation of waste presents us with possible guidelines to intervene in the new changing environment. This thinking involves searching for, and defining, models that allow us to confront architecture without use. Prior to demolition or renovation, we can establish the preservation and exaltation of the natural life of any of mankind's structures as an ethical attitude. To this end, we learn about the valid models undertaken in landscape projects, especially for the garden, because in the desire to create pleasant environments the whole breadth of life is presented for it to be understood. The transition from its persistence, establishing attitudes that idealize the landscape, to the reassessment of alternative change, involves delving into the complexity of the natural variables. Focussing on the biological verifies that, in its permanent rotation, a new aesthetic arises linked to ecological principles that place value on the passage of time. All architectural unity born of the union of the pre-existing (support) with the new (contribution) gives us the opportunity to argue the meaning of the Other. Supported by the thinking of Levinas, we approach an ethical attitude which, complemented by the varied aesthetic approaches characteristic of architecture, leads us to open ourselves to the aesthetic enjoyment of the Other. Attention to the natural in all architecture gives us the experience of achieving an existence consistent with life.
