dc.description.abstract | The final project entitled Model of Fleet Maintenance Vehicle seeks to address the problem of optimal sizing of a set of vehicles to satisfy a given demand whose achievement be affected by the availability of data at different points in the time. Among the many types of vehicles considered, it was decided to consider a fleet of Long-distance buses, as they perfectly meet the following requirements. This is equipment failure rates that can be known or easily estimated, with a long shelf life, so we can see the evolution in the time, which must meet a variable demand and will randomly failing varying service capacity of our fleet. On the other hand, we have a maintenance centers where we can repair vehicles, which entails costs that must be taken into account. I am going to study variables such as the number of vehicles available, the price of fuel, the demand for tickets needed, etc.. We cannot forget the logistic component, which allows us to determine the best size for our fleet, depending on the policy you choose, varying the number of buses that we own, that we rent or to hire exceptional needs demand. | es_ES |
