dc.description.abstract | The aim of this final degree project on practical typology consists of the development of an artist’s book in which typographic disciplines such as lettering and calligraphy have been selected for its implementation. The main objectives of this project lie in the application of the training received in and outside of the degree. To know the artistic practice and acquire a professional creative profile mainly with design and illustration skills in addition of practical and theoretical knowledge of the rest of subjects studied during the titulation. The title that I have chosen for the artist’s book is “See, hear and be quiet” and responds to concepts of perceptual experience from senses, impressions or feelings of a particular content. The copy is divided into three chapters, establishing dialectic between appearance and the romantic conception of its content. On one hand, the work is defined as a diary where fictitious and analytical aspects share real-life experiences through an omniscient narrator accompanied by careful texts. On the other hand, the technical development of the book deals with typography and drawing questions ranging from stroke, building tools and analysis of shape to the most pure experimentation. | es_ES |
| es_ES |
