dc.description.abstract | Smart houses” is a new concept created by the integration of automatics, electronics and informatics in every house. The IT integration idea is already part of our everyday life when it comes to smartphones, as well as in other fields such as the automotive and other industries, with their navigation systems and industry 4.0. Today everything is connected, and logically, houses will be part of this development in near future. Previously, mobile phones and home automation are the preceding technology that is being developing in what is today is called “The Internet of things” to increase the possibilities by IT. The key aspects of this new house are that only with an easy and low cost installation, it is possible to reduce costs and improve environment sustainability, security and people comfort. The available work describes how to create a SmartHome model, the concept itself, and how to develop this new idea with some of its most important characteristics using a Beaglebone Back connected by MySQL. | es_ES |
